Before I go any further into anything “American Summer” related I need to come clean. Warren Zide, the producer of “American Pie”, “Final Destination” and the soon to be released “American Summer”, is a partner of mine on Collider. So you don’t need a rocket science degree to realize me writing on “American Summer” or any other movie that Warren is producing would be a conflict of interest. I just wanted to let you know before we go any further.

 

That said, Warren is a great partner and one who has helped Collider grow tremendously. The reason why Warren and I work well together is that we’re honest with each other. He yells at me for being lazy, I yell at him for polluting the minds of the world’s youth by infecting them with sex and violence. Then when I’m done yelling, I watch some porn. Seriously though, Warren is a great partner and a good friend.

 

But now the reason we are here.

 

Warren is currently filming a new movie and he is letting me premiere some images on the site. We were going to post some footage but due to the nudity we won’t be able to do that until I get a PG rated clip…. 

 

The film he’s making is called “American Summer” and the writer of the movie told me it’s like an “American Pie” version of “Risky Business.” And since I’m sure some will be wondering…. “American Summer” has nothing to do with the universe of “American Pie.”

 

The film stars Matthew Lillard, Efren Ramirez, Brett Davern, Rachelle LeFevre and a ton of other people. I’ve actually posted the cast list below as they’ve landed a few celebrities for cameo roles.

 

As more info gets released (or Warren tells me what’s up) I’ll likely be posting updates here. Until then enjoy the first images anywhere from “American Summer.”
