Zachary Levi and Josh Gomez Exclusive Video Interview – CHUCK

Last night in downtown Los Angeles was the “Street Fighter IV” video game release party. However, with the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie set to hit theaters at the end of the month, and 2009 being the 20th Anniversary of the franchise, last night was a lot more than a release party.

That’s because 20th Century Fox brought in most of the cast and the party was open to anyone who had RSVP in advance. So unlike some parties that are stiff and full of industry types, many of the folks inside were die-hard fanboys that couldn’t wait to play the game.

And if you were one of the few that got in, you were able to walk around and see tons of famous faces and they were all playing the game and having fun. It was actually a lot better of a night than I expected. If you want to see a lot of pictures from the event and me walking around on video, click here.

Anyway, while I was there I managed to interview a number of people, but my favorite was the one with Zachary Levi and Josh Gomez – the two stars of NBC’s hit show “Chuck”.

Not only were they extremely funny, but they agreed to let me interview them while we were all waiting in line to get into the event. You see, the place was so crowded that even famous actors had to wait outside until space cleared. So while they easily could have said no thank you to giving me an interview, they both were onboard the minute I asked. Trust me; it’s not always this easy.

Anyhow…as a big fan of the show, I tried to find out as much as I could about what’s coming up and if there is going to be a third season. Also, since the show has revealed the Buy More is in Burbank, California and it’s clearly based on the Best Buy located in Burbank…I asked if they’d ever been there….which led to an interesting exchange that you have to see.

Trust me, if you’re a fan of “Chuck”, you’ll love the interview.

Zachary Levi and Josh Gomez

  • We talk about the 3D episode
  • Do they ever get to improv as they seem to have great chemistry
  • Zack talks about how this season doesn’t have him much in Buy More
  • Comic-Con talk and what is the experience like for them
  • Where are they at in the season and what can fans look forward to
  • What’s the update for a third season…if they have been picked up or not
  • Do they play Tuesday morning quarterback – meaning do they look at the ratings
  • Season finale talk – will it be a big cliffhanger
  • Zach says the finale has to do with Captain Awesome’s wedding to Ellie and things ensue…
  • I bring up how they revealed this season the store is in Burbank, California. I ask if they ever go to the Best Buy in Burbank which is clearly the store the Buy More is based on. They reveal they might try and go to the Best Buy in Burbank to try and get noticed…
