Watch Footage from Last Night’s DEWEY COX Performance in Los Angeles - WALK HARD

Last night I was one of the lucky members of the media to get invited to a live performance by the one and only Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly). In case you don’t know who Dewey is, he’s the star of the new Sony movie “Walk Hard.”

The event was the first stop on a week long tour by Dewey Cox & The Hard Walkers and I have to say…I was blown away by what I saw. John C. Reilly can absolutely sing and to illustrate the point, Sony has provided me with some footage from last night’s show.

While the video shows him sounding pretty good while singing “Guilty as Charged,” the song that sounded the best last night was "A Life Without You (Is No Life At All)." After that song was over the crowd applauded like it was a real concert. It also helped that the song demonstrated his vocal range.

Over the next week John and the band will be on tour across the USA. Unfortunately, I just saw on the Walk Hard website that the shows are now sold out. If you can find a ticket I recommend checking it out… but for those who don’t live in the cities where he is playing, hopefully the band will play a TV show if the writers strike gets resolved soon.

Until then, here’s the clip followed by some new video interviews with John C. Reilly, Director Jake Kasdan and Producer Judd Apatow from the Roxy last night. And if you missed the clips I posted yesterday you can watch them here.
