We have five clips from the upcoming Sam Rockwell sci-fi thriller, "Moon".  Judging from these five clips, it looks like we're going to get another great performance out of Rockwell (no surprise there) but I'm a little unsure about the tone.  You have this HAL 9000-like machine except it's voiced by Kevin Spacey and uses emoticons.  Also, there's use of music where I feel like silence may be more appropriate.  But these are just small criticisms taken from clips out of context. I will say that I dig the aesthetic and I'll see Rockwell do just about anything.

Check out the five new clips below.  For those just tuning in, here's a brief synopsis:

After spending three years on the moon as a solitary miner, Sam Bell (Rockwell) is almost ready to return home to his wife and daughter. But as his homecoming approaches, he begins to experience strange things that can't be explained and his employer may have a sinister plan in mind for him.

"Moon" will premiere Friday, January 23rd at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

Clip 1 – Good morning Sam

Clip 2 – He scares me

Clip 3 – I wanna go home
