In terms of summer hype, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (great pornographic title, BTW), has remained relatively cool.  While some films are throwing teasers and images at you left and right, "Joe" is staying out of the fray, calmly awaiting its August 7th release date.

But we all need to be reminded now and then and that's why we have six new character posters (via MySpace) that aren't really as cool as the previous posters (which gave both the character's name and the full title and also had a nice look to them) but let you know that all of these characters shop at the same store: Black Body Armor R Us (and yes, it is a subsidiary of Toys R Us).  Also, while these characters may be on different sides of the fight, they can all agree that posing with their guns in the middle of explosive debris is cool.

There's also a rumor that we may finally get the first footage of the film this Sunday during the Superbowl.  Barring that, Snake-Eyes will come onto the field and impale Ben Roethlisberger who, and not many people know this, is actually a member of Cobra.
