You know when you have impossibly high expectations for something and then something meets those impossibly high expectations? It's rare.
This new trailer for "Where The Wild Things Are" is a rarity. It conveys such childlike wonder and excitement but rooted in actual emotions mixed with genuine majesty of the Wild Things and the freedom and liberation of being a child. It looks like Spike Jonze may have found a way to re-introduce us to our inner child but done so without the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia and with the actual hopes and fears that we once felt.
