10:30-12:00 Lost: Season 3— You won't want to miss this panel with Jorge Garcia (Hugo “Hurley” Reyes) and Daniel Dae Kim (Jin-Soo Kwon) from the cast of ABC’s hit show Lost as they are joined by co-creator/executive producer Damon Lindelof and executive producers Bryan Burk and Carlton Cuse to discuss the new season of Lost. They'll preview excerpts from the Lost Season 2 DVD box set, take questions from the audience, and perhaps even offer some surprises! Room 20
12:00-1:00 The Simpsons— Heading into their unprecedented 18th season this fall, and with their historic 400th episode airing next spring, The Simpsons continues to entertain and delight. Members of the team responsible for the longest-running comedy on television will be on hand to answer the questions everyone wants to know, including: how do you continue to keep it so good? 4:30-5:30 The 4400— Get a sneak peek at upcoming scenes from CBS Paramount Network Television’s hit sci-fi series The 4400 for USA Network, followed by a panel discussion with series stars Joel Gretsch (Tom Baldwin), Jacqueline McKenzie (Diana Skouris), Patrick Flueger (Shawn Farrell), and Megalyn Echikunwoke (Isabelle Tyler) and executive producer Ira Steven Behr (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and producer Craig Sweeny (Medium). The third season of The 4400 sparks a new beginning for the 4400 people who, over a span of years, mysteriously disappeared—only to be returned to Earth all together in a ball of light. Though the returnees have not aged physically, many of them reappeared with dramatic abilities ranging from enhanced reflexes to precognition. NTAC (National Threat Assessment Command) is the government agency responsible for keeping track of the returnees and investigating all things related to the 4400. Room 6CDEF
4:30-5:30 Veronica Mars— Series creator and executive producer Rob Thomas (Drive Me Crazy, Cupid) and cast members Kristen Bell (the upcoming movie Pulse, Showtime's Reefer Madness), Jason Dohring (Deep Impact), Francis Capra (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Ryan Hansen (Death by Engagement), Michael Muhney (upcoming Lovers, Liars & Lunatics), and Enrico Colantoni (Galaxy Quest) have brought to life some of the most memorable noir characters on network television today. 2:00-3:30 DVD Sneak Peek 2006— Bill Hunt and Todd Doogan, editors of The Digital Bits.com (recently named one of Entertainment Weekly's Top 25 Entertainment Sites of 2006) and a panel of some of Hollywood's leading special edition DVD producers will give you a first look at lots of great movie and TV DVDs on the way for 2006 and 2007! They'll talk about the new HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc high-definition formats and answer lots of audience questions. 1:30-2:30 The Art of Adapting Comics to the Screen— The cinematic renaissance of comic-book-based films continues, and here's your chance to learn what it takes to adapt these dream projects to the screen. Bring your questions and join Creative Screenwriting magazine's senior editor Jeff Goldsmith as he chats with the fantastic panel featuring Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), Simon Kinberg (X-Men 3), Brian Nelson (30 Days of Night), Gregory Noveck (senior VP of creative affairs, DC Comics), and Josh Olson (A History of Violence). 8:30-11:30 Comic-Con International Masquerade— Fabulous original and re-created costumes crafted by CCI’s very talented attendees appear on stage before an audience of thousands. Entries deemed the best will receive impressive trophies and company-donated prizes. Doors will open for audience seating at 7:45 pm, but the line will start much earlier! Tickets will be required for seating and will be given out free to those lining up near Ballroom 20 beginning at 4:30 pm. The Master of Ceremonies will be writer/artist Phil Foglio of Studio Foglio. Special movie previews will be shown beforehand, and during halftime judging, “The Great Luke Ski,” will take the stage to perform a few of his parody songs made famous on the Dr. Demento Show. 11:30-12:30 Star Wars Day: What’s New, and What’s Coming at Hasbro— Hear first announcements about Hasbro’s products that you might not learn about anywhere else, plus get a special sneak preview of the 2007 product line. Meet members of Hasbro’s Star Wars marketing and design teams, the talented people who work on the company’s Attacktix, Titanium, and Star Wars action figure line, including the designer of the Comic-Con International exclusive 501st Stormtrooper figure. 12:30-1:30 Star Wars Day: Sculpting a Galaxy with Master Modelmaker Lorne Peterson— Lorne Peterson, one of the original members of Industrial Light & Magic, first went to work for George Lucas on the original Star Wars. Since then he has worked on each of the Star Wars movies, plus numerous movies for other directors, including Steven Spielberg. Peterson’s new book, Sculpting a Galaxy, is scheduled for release in November. Come hear the master Modelmaker, with moderator Pablo Hidalgo. Room 2
1:30-2:30 Star Wars Day: What’s Hot at LucasArts— There are plenty of new and exciting games coming soon from LucasArts, including some great, highly anticipated Star Wars titles. Hear the news from the LucasArts team about these, and about the coming Indiana Jones game, plus glimpse some of the new technology that will help make coming games the most exciting to play yet! 2:30-3:30 Star Wars Day: Legacy of the Force— Popular authors Aaron Allston, Troy Denning, and Karen Traviss will discuss their nine-book Star Wars series, “Legacy of the Force.” The first book in the series, Allston’s Betrayal, is in stores now, and the second book, Traviss’ Bloodlines, is scheduled for release this August. Representatives from Lucasfilm and Del Rey also will be on the panel, with Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo as moderator. Room 2
3:30-4:30 Star Wars Day: Trivia Game Show— Members of the San Diego Star Wars Society, veteran hosts of great trivia game shows at Star Wars Celebration III and Comic-Con International in 2004 and 2005, are planning another trivia challenge for all fans who think they know their stuff about the galaxy far, far away. 4:30-5:30 Star Wars Day: Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Spectacular— It wouldn’t be Comic-Con International without hearing the latest on Lucasfilm and Star Wars from Steve Sansweet, the company’s head of Fan Relations. Sansweet will top off Star Wars Day with previews of what’s coming next, plus special announcements that will be heard for the first time ever during this presentation. Once again, Sansweet will show that Lucasfilm means it when it says “Star Wars is Forever.” Hall H
