The new domestic trailer for "Speed Racer" is available and it looks...dare I say it...fun?  What's interesting is that there are variety of tones at work.  You have Christina Ricci almost chewing the scenery, Emile Hirsch playing it straight, and Matthew Fox not crying which makes this his most impressive role to date.  And if all these shades of characters had colors, I'm sure you'd find them along with every other color known to man in these two-and-a-half minutes.  I know that if "Cloverfield" had to carry a warning about motion sickness, "Speed Racer" should have to carry a warning about epilepsy.  No matter how many lights and sounds your brain can take, it appears that the Wachowski's have used the newest technology to create an old-fashioned adventure film.  I have no problem with that.
