Getting a large cast of actors back together for a live-action project is no easy task.  The resurrection of "Family Guy" and "Futurama" is impressive but getting folks to come into a recording booth whenever it fits their schedule isn't the most difficult challenge in the world.  Getting nine actors to reprise their roles for a motion picture is tough work.

Remarkably, according to a recent interview with Hurwitz, he's got eight on board.  The interviewer asked about a rumor saying that Will Arnett and Michael Cera were the remaining holdouts.  To wit Hurwtiz,

"I don’t want to talk about who is holding out right now because we might still work that out and I don’t want to pressure anyone through the press.  Although I will say that Will Arnett is gung-ho, so there’s a big clue!"

Now before you start writing hate mail and registering MichaelCeraMustDie.com, a few things: First, I already own that domain name (he knows what he did).  Second, we don't know the particulars.  Maybe they're not offering him enough money; maybe it creates a scheduling conflict.  My guess is that Cera may not want the typecasting.  Even folks who are fans of Cera have pointed out that in movies like "Superbad" and "Juno" he seems to still be playing George Michael.  It's up to folks like me to correct them and point them in the direction of ClarkandMichael.com where they can see a totally different side of George Michael.

Checkout Fancast's interview here where you can also read about Hurwitz' ideas for what will happen next time on "Arrested Development"
