First up we have the poster for "The Air I Breathe", a poster that seems cool but then looks like it's trying way too hard. Look! It's a butterfly resting on a gun! An object of beauty and tranquility resting on an object of destruction and violence! That butterfly is about to get the business. And not jut because it's resting on top of a gun, but because that gun is loaded with the heads of SERIOUS ACTORS.

The we have the poster for "The Ruins". I like that it's trying not to give too much away, but I think it's holding back a little too much. It's playing more off the popularity of the book, which is great for people who read. But what about the rest of us? What is the his movie about? Is it about a gritty day at the beach? Because I'm down with that. I just want to know.
Update – it seems that this poster was a fan made creation that ran on bloody-disgusting.com - Sorry about any confusion.

Easily the best poster is the one for "Funny Games". The previous one was pretty damn creepy as well (with Naomi Watts crying a tear with the tagline, "You must admit, you brought this on yourself.") but this is the one you want to get for the golfer in your life. Also, the black-on-white combined with just showing the title and nothing else is tremendously effective.
