As the director of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, Chris Weitz is in the position to answer every question about the second film in the “Twilight” series. After all, he’s the one who decides what take they’re going to use, what angle to put the camera, and how a scene from the popular book series is going to look on film. What I am trying to say is, if you’ve been anxiously awaiting the next film, Chris is the man with all the answers.
So after the jump you can watch my exclusive interview with Chris at this year’s Comic-Con. I got him to talk about how long the movie might be, what scenes he’s already cut for the DVD/Blu-ray, what extras might be on the home video release, and I also asked him when a “Twilight” fan first came up to him knowing he was directing “New Moon”. It’s a great interview so take a look:
Chris Weitz
- What was the first time someone came up to him and said you’re directing the new Twilight movie
- How long will Twilight: New Moon be – Says it will be around 2 hours
- Deleted scenes – has he already cut stuff that will end up on the DVD
- What can fans looks forward to on the DVD/Blu-ray

Your New Moon interviews are like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for keeping your questions unobtrusive, new (unique =]), and entertaining. The whole “Twilight phenomenon” is often criticized for something that only appeals to overexcited tweens/teenagers and I feel like your interviews showed a more intelligent, thoughtful, and witty side that other media outlets neglect to do. Your work is much appreciated!
