The second wave for Fantastic Fest 2018 is here and it's got some good news for festival goers! Allow me to address the big news upfront: mother flippin' Halloween will make its US Premiere as the opening night film with actual legend and possible saint Jamie Lee Curtis attending, alongside producers Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. David Gordon Green's reboot/sequel is set to make its world premiere at TIFF in early September.

And that's not the only exciting TIFF title that's making its way to Texas for the fest. Jeremy Saulnier's Hold the DarkGaspar Noé's "trippy horror musical" Climax, and Peter Strickland's In Fabric will also make their US premieres at Fantastic Fest.
