Yesterday, 20th Century Fox dropped both a new, full-length Fantastic Four trailer and a new “team reveal” poster for director Josh Trank’s adaptation of the Marvel comic. The trailer gave us our clearest look yet at the film, which is indeed a much darker comic book movie than the Marvel Studios mold but also appears to have a solid sense of humor throughout. The most striking thing about the trailer, though, is we get to see a brief showcase of each Fantastic Four member’s powers: Miles Teller’s stretchy arms, Kate Mara’s invisibility, Michael B. Jordan’s human flame, and Jamie Bell’s rock-hard body.

But for an even closer look at the various powers, Fox has released some official high-quality screengrabs from the trailer. Not only do they offer static looks at the visual representation of the team’s powers, but also Toby Kebbell’s mysterious Dr. Doom. The villain has been kept out of all the marketing thus far, but made his first appearance in the new trailer. What’s under the mask? We’ll have to wait until August to find out.

Take a look at the new Fantastic Four images below. The film also stars Tim Blake Nelson and Reg E. Cathey. Fantastic Four opens in theaters on August 7th.
