The actor/producer/franchise godfather has shared yet another new tease from the film on Instagram, but this one’s quite notable as it reveals Dame Helen Mirren herself alongside Dominic Toretto.
The role is something of a dream come true for Mirren (really), as the actress previously mentioned in the press that she really wanted to get behind the wheel of a car in a Fast and Furious movie. While her role in Fast 8 is expected to be limited to nothing more than a cameo, it’ll still be neat to see an actress of her stature rubbing elbows with Dom within the context of the eighth Fast and Furious movie. Is it too much to ask for an entire spinoff series revolving around Dom and Mirren’s character? Please?
