A new featurette for Universal’s Fast & Furious 6 has gone online today.  The three minute video consists of the cast talking about their experiences with the film, the stunts, and their co-stars.  The featurette also showcases snippets of behind the scenes footage and various action moments already seen in the film’s trailer, including the impressive sequence of Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, and company pulling down a commercial sized airliner with only a cable and four wheels.  With a large and genial cast (including a lot of returning stars), impressive set pieces, and a prime summer release date, director Justin Lin looks to be delivering a worthy addition to a sometimes tired franchise.

The film also stars Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Joe Taslim, and Luke EvansFast & Furious 6 opens May 24th.  Hit the jump to watch the featurette.

Here’s the official synopsis for Fast & Furious 6:

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe.  But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez).  The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London.  Payment?  Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.
