Apparently the big screen adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey includes 20 minutes of sex scenes, but it doesn’t look like Universal and Focus Features plan on unveiling any of them in the film’s promotional campaign.  The first clip showed off a run-in Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) has with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) at the hardware store and now this new Fifty Shades of Grey clip backtracks to their first meeting together during which Christian clearly takes a liking to her.

The clips aren’t really oozing with big screen chemistry, but at this point, does that really matter?  Fifty Shades is an unstoppable fad that has millions riled up about the release.  In fact, it’s the fastest selling R-rated movie in Fandango history.  Personally, curiosity is driving me more so than a genuine interest in seeing the film, but I also wouldn’t mind seeing Focus and Universal stick it to the naysayers and deliver a film that isn’t just about wowing crowds with 20 minutes of sex scenes, but rather also about elevating the source material and turning it into a quality romance movie.

We’ll find out if they came anywhere close to that when Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on February 13th.  The film also stars Jennifer Ehle, Max Martini, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Eloise Mumford, Dylan Neal, Victor Rasuk and Callum Keith Rennie.
