A movie that made me laugh a lot at this year’s Sundance Film Festival was director Scott Sander’s “Black Dynamite”. Here’s the trailer. The film is currently playing in limited release, but unless you go see it this weekend, the only way you’re ever going to watch “Black Dynamite” is on DVD or Blu-ray. And that’s a shame, as the film is a bad-ass blaxploitation flick and it’s definitely meant to be seen with an audience. So while we’re always going on and on about what future projects are being developed, if you want to see something that’ll surprise you and make you laugh a lot, hit the jump for info on where the film is playing. Also, the film is 1000% better than “Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant”.
When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
