FilmStruck was already a pretty great service. While plenty of other streamers out there were competing for the same movies made after 1988, FilmStruck carved out its niche as the place you could go for classic, old indies, and foreign films thanks to the partnering of Turner Classic Movies and The Criterion Collection. Now they’ve upped their game again by partnering with Warner Bros. to offer some of the best films of Hollywood’s first Golden Age for no additional cost.

New movies now available on FilmStruck include Casablanca, Rebel Without a Cause, Singin’ In the Rain, Citizen Kane, The Music Man, Bringing Up Baby, The Thin Man, Cat People, A Night At The Opera, An American In Paris, and Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf.

So what does this mean for people who had subscribed to Warner Archive to get these titles? They’ll now be transitioned over to FilmStruck for no additional charge, which is pretty great. I’ve been a FilmStruck member since January, and I’ve really got no complaints about it. While I wish they would bring the service to PlayStation 4 and/or Xbox One, that’s definitely not a dealbreaker since it’s available through multiple other platforms.

In addition to a bevy new titles, FilmStruck will also now offer TCM Select, “a new featured collection offering the most iconic films from the Golden Age of Hollywood, supplemented with introductions from TCM host Ben Mankiewicz created exclusively for FilmStruck, rare archival content and bonus materials,” as well as new curated themes like Rogers & Astaire and Neo-Noir.

If you’re thinking about getting FilmStruck, it costs $6.99 for just FilmStruck or $10.99/month for Filmstruck plus The Criterion Channel. I recommend going for the annual subscription, which gets you everything for $99/year.

Here’s the official description for FilmStruck:
