With director Jon S. Baird’ adaptation of the Irvine Welsh crime novel Filth now on VOD today and in theaters May 30th, we've happy to premiere an exclusive clip from the film.  If you're not familiar with the story, James McAvoy stars as Bruce Robertson, a corrupt, drug-addicted detective who attempts to connive his way to a promotion in the hopes that it will repair his broken family.  The film also stars Jamie Bell, Imogen Poots, Eddie Marsan, and Jim Broadbent.  Hit the jump to watch the clip and here's a crazy red band trailer if you missed it.

Detective Sergeant Bruce Robertson wants a promotion. He is clearly the best man for the job—the rest of his colleagues are just idiots.
