In the latest issue of Empire Magazine there’s the first official image from Louis Leterrier’s remake of “Clash of the Ttians” and herein we see the film’s star and hero, Sam Worthington as Perseus, the son of a God but raised as a man (because Zeus was always busy with his other family on the weekends). While “Terminator Salvation” was mostly forgettable, I did like Sam Worthington a lot and I think he’s got great presence which is a good thing since he’s on his way to being the biggest action star in Hollywood.
For those not up on the story, it follows Perseus journey’s to save Princess Andromeda during which he must complete various tasks set out by Zeus, including capturing Pegasus and slaying Medusa. But mainly Zeus is just trying to keep the kid away so he won’t have to “have a catch” with him and make all the men in the audience cry.
Check out the full image after the jump but you should go and pick up “Empire” anyway since it’s the best film magazine there is. “Clash of the Titans” hits theatres on March 26th, 2010.
