First Images and Synopses for Newly-Added Sundance 2010 Films IT’S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT, and THE ROMANTICS

The 2010 Sundance Film Festival announced today that it would be adding three films to its out of competition line-up: It’s a Wonderful Afterlife, directed by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham); The Kids Are Alright, directed by Lisa Cholodenko (Laurel Canyon) and starring Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, Josh Hutcherson, Mark Ruffalo, and Annette Benning; and The Romantics, directed by Galt Niederhoffer (Grace Is Gone) and starring Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, and Elijah Wood.

Here is the one-sentence synopsis for It’s a Wonderful Afterlife:
A comedy centered on an Indian mother who discovers that finding the perfect son-in-law can be murder.

Two children conceived by artificial insemination bring their birth father into their family life.

Here is the one-sentence synopsis for The Romantics:
The Romantics, a zeitgeist love story and generational comedy, takes place over the course of one night at a deluxe seaside wedding.
