"Date Night," the new film from Shawn Levy ("Night at the Museum"), revisits a classic Hollywood film plot - a married couple, despite having achieved the American Dream, find themselves in a rut and are unsure what to do next. Normally, that sort of plot results in a tense drama like "Revolutionary Road." This time, however, audiences will be leaving theaters laughing. At least if Tinay Fey and Steve Carrell have anything to say about it. Hit the jump to find out more.

Shaken by the impending divorce of their good friends (not to mention their tendency to turn each other off during sex) Fey and Carrell's characters decide to reignite their own spark by going out on a date...but not as themselves. What ensues is "a real case of mistaken identity, a mob effort to kill them and a Odyssean getaway through New York City's nightscape."

The fact that Fey and Carrell are teamed up for this movie great. Fey is one of the best comediennes today and Carrell is so good he made "Get Smart" almost watchable. Add to that supporting stars like Mark Ruffalo, Kristin Wiig, James Franco, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg and I'm sure audiences will be in for a good time.
