The first poster for director Clint Eastwood’s “Invictus” has been released and it’s after the jump. The movie used to be called “The Human Factor”, so if the name sounds new…that’s because it is. The film stars Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman and it’s based on a true story from 1995. That year saw Nelson Mandela join forces with the captain of South Africa’s rugby team, Francois Pienaar, to help unite their country. Believing he can bring his people together through the universal language of sport, Mandela rallies South Africa’s underdog rugby team as they make an unlikely run to the 1995 World Cup Championship match. While we’ve all seen a lot of sports movies…with this cast and Eastwood behind the wheel, I wouldn’t bet against it. “Invictus” gets a limited release on December 11th.
