With Fox announcing their fall and spring schedule today, they’ve also sent me the first images and the trailer from some of their new shows. Since I’ve got a number of things to post, I thought I’d divide them up into separate articles. Up first is “Dollhouse,” the new show from Joss Whedon!

According to the synopsis, “Dollhouse” focuses on a secret organization that employs "Actives" -- a group of operatives who have their memories and personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with new ones, allowing them to take on various missions for hire. The Actives don't just act like new people, they become new people, yet they are never aware they are pawns in someone else's game on

The show premieres this January on Fox. They’ve actually paired it with “24,” so it’s not in a death slow like “Firefly” was. I wonder if that was in Joss’s contract…a better timeslow.

With Joss always getting love from Geekdom, I’d expect the pilot to be shown at Comic-Con this summer…along with Joss and the cast talking to the crowd…assuming there is no actor’s strike. Until then…enjoy the first three images from the show.

“Dollhouse” stars Tahmoh Penikett, Enver Gjokaj, Eliza Dushku, Dichen Lachman, Fran Kranz, Olivia Williams, Harry Lennix.

And with that…here’s the trailer and the first images.
