I don’t watch “24″ anymore but I assume if you saw the previous seven seasons then you’ll want to see this new trailer because it feature Kiefer Sutherland in his Emmy-winning performance as Jack Bauer, a man who shouts at things and tortures people from time to time under the ticking-clock scenario that never happens in the real world. Correct me if I’m wrong, but how many seasons have started off with Jack being out of the game but the world needs his help and he’s the only man who can both shout and torture and that’s a lethal combo for terrorists. But fans of the have already heard these kinds of points from detractors and watch the show anyone. In my experience viewers of “24″ fall into one of two categories: People who genuinely find the show thrilling and action-packed; and people who find it laughably terrible. Hit the jump to see which group will be happier with the trailer.
“24″ returns to Fox on January 17th, 2010.

Last season was kind of awesome, though. Started a bit sour, but it was one of the most solid seasons.
Plus, if you mean a time-lock by saying the ticking-clock scenario, 24 has short versions of that throughout a season, but that’s rarely the case. Just because it happens in 24 hours doesn’t mean there is some big event happening at the 23rd hour that everyone is trying to prevent.
It’s true that “they” keep pulling him back in, but there’s really no other halfway plausible way to sell it given how his life has been. lol.
Jack is about torture per se, either. He is about exploring if the ends justifies the means. His character has decided that in some extreme situations it does. Not saying he’s right by the way.
Anyway, 24 has had some serious low points over the years, but I always give it a skeptical chance and this season will be no different. Especially since Day 7 some truly great moments and stayed relatively solid throughout.

If you are going to write, you should learn to proof-read. This short blog had several oddities. Can someone explain this sentence from above…

I am such a nerd… I am not a big TV watcher but I am sooooooooooooooooooo geeked up for 24’s return!!! I just hope they don’t kill him off. I think they could easily do a couple of more seasons!!!
