The first two official images and the synopsis from Sylvain White’s The Losers have hit the web. Both images are typical first look shots in that they don’t tell you anything about the movie except show you what actors are in it. While I hate boring images like these, I understand launching with them and then getting to the action shots as it gets closer to release.
If you’re not familiar with the movie, the film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Jason Patric, Óscar Jaenada, Idris Elba, Zoë Saldana and Columbus Short. It’s based on the comic by Andy Diggle and Jock. Here’s the just released synopsis:
Action Thriller. An explosive tale of double cross and revenge, “The Losers” centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team-Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar -find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.
Check out the images after the jump. We’ll have a lot more on this film as it gets closer to release:
The Losers hit theaters this April. Thanks to our partners at Omelete for the shots.

Like it so far, but surprised/disappointed they made changed Aisha’s background from Middle Eastern to South American.
