With Focus about two and a half weeks away from its big debut, Warner Bros. just released a whole batch of clips and 12 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from the film. Will Smith leads as Nicky, a skilled con man who strikes up a relationship with a novice, Margot Robbie’s Jess. When things get too intense, Nicky ends the romance. Three years later, he winds up bumping into Jess again, but now she’s an experienced femme fatale with the ability to throw Nicky off his game right in the middle of an especially dangerous operation.
I can’t say I’m particularly eager to see Focus, but these clips do have a fun, engaging energy to them that makes me more interested. You can check out all eight Focus clips as well as the 12 minutes of B-roll for yourself below. The film is due in theaters on February 27th and also stars Rodrigo Santoro, Gerald McRaney, BD Wong and Adrian Martinez.

Here’s the official synopsis for Focus:
Will Smith stars as Nicky, a seasoned master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with novice con artist Jess (Margot Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame—now an accomplished femme fatale—shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop…and the consummate con man off his game.
