Written by Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub This Sunday on “Family Guy” features something very cool – the cast of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. If you haven’t heard about it yet, the creators at “Family Guy” have gotten all the actors from Next Generation (Patrick Stewart, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Denise Crosby, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes) to play themselves on the show. If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time they’ve all agreed to do something together like this since the show ended. As a HUGE fan of TNG, I think it’s awesome and I can’t wait to see the episode. While I thought I’d have to wait till this Sunday, FOX has put some footage on YouTube and it’s below.

Thankfully, it looks very funny and it shows that everyone has a great sense of humor. The story of the episode is Stewie goes to a Star Trek convention and doesn’t get a chance to ask a question, so he builds a transporter and beams the entire cast of to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog.
