If you were the type of person repeatedly screaming "please kiss" at your television during the Oscars' "Shallow" performance last night you were probably also thrilled by the new TV spot for FX's Fosse/Verdon, a tumultuous drama about two artists destined for both greatness and suffering. The series follows Sam Rockwell as iconic filmmaker and choreographer Bob Fosse alongside Michelle Williams as Fosse's wife and creative partner, the four-time Tony award-winner Gwen Verdon. Based on the book Fosse by Sam Wasson, the eight-part event is executive-produced by a trio of live-theater dynamos in Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton director Thomas Kail, and Dear Evan Hansen writer Steven Levenson.

There's not much to report story-wise from the new teaser, but if it was possible to overdose on jazz hands this thing would be straight lethal. Outside the performances from the two massively-talented leads, I'd say the most anticipated aspects of Fosse/Verdon is its choreography and overall style. Judging by this and the full trailer released not too long ago, the show has all the pizzazz you could possibly ask for.
