Today’s Amazon Gold Box Deal of the Day is Friends: The Complete Series on Blu-ray for $87.99 (69% off) or DVD for $59.99 (70% off).  Friends was one of my favorite series in high school, and when I watch the occasional rerun on Nick at Nite, the show holds up.  It’s very 90s in its look and feel, but the characters remain endearing and the jokes are still funny.  I wish the show (along with Seinfeld) would move to Netflix or some other streaming service, but the syndication rights are just too lucrative to take them away from regular television.  Owning the complete series is the next best thing.  Please note that the Blu-ray set doesn’t contain the extended episodes found on the DVDs.
