FRINGE Series Finale Poster and TV Spot Hint at Good News for Fans, Bad News for Observers

     January 14, 2013

It’s always bittersweet when a fantastic television series like Fox’s Fringe comes to an end, but if this new series finale poster is any indication, at least the show will be going out in style.  What started as an X-Files type procedural back in 2008 will culminate in an all-out battle between the remaining members of the Fringe team and the futuristic Observers.  A new promo poster for the two-hour finale rewards long-time Fringe fans with a throwback effect while spelling doom for at least one of the Observers (I wonder who…).

Be sure to check out interviews with Fringe co-creator J.J. Abrams, showrunner J.H. Wyman and star John Noble, who all share their thoughts on the upcoming finale.  Also starring Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv and Jasika Nicole, the series finale of Fringe will air Friday, January 18th at 8/7c with the episode “Liberty” in the first hour, followed by the last episode ever, “An Enemy of Fate.”  Hit the jump to check out the slightly spoilery poster and TV spot.

Here’s the most recent TV spot for the series finale of Fringe:

Then, Peter, Olivia, Walter, Astrid and Broyles face off against the Observers in one final and extraordinary battle for the fate of mankind.
