FROZEN FEVER Short Brings Back Familiar Faces With a New Song

     September 2, 2014

On the heels of Frozen’s billion dollar global gross last year comes the new Disney short, Frozen Fever, which you can check out next year.  Since it will be a while before we get a sequel to that film, this will likely be your only opportunity in the near future to get caught up with Anna, Elsa, Krista and Olaf.

Frozen Fever will be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, who also helmed the original film.  It will also feature a new song by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who are working together again for the first time since collaborating on Frozen in 2013.  Hit the jump for more on Frozen Fever.

Here’s the official synopsis for Frozen Fever:

In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

No exact date has been given for the short’s release but it is expected to hit in the Spring of 2015.

Guess Disney has to get people to go see Kenneth Branagh’s CINDERELLA somehow.

I thought Elsa overcame her ice power fear completely.

    • Cale

Based off the title, I’m guessing she gets a cold, and stuff happens as a result. Plus just because she’s overcome her fear, doesn’t mean she can’t feel fear.
