FUN SIZE HORROR Film #1: Grant Olin’s “When They Say You’re Alone”

     October 27, 2014

Fun Size Horror week officially begins now!  Just in case you need a quick refresher before we jump into this, Fun Size Horror is a collective of filmmakers who decided that they didn’t want to wait for anyone or anything to make their films.  They all love horror and were eager to make some movies, so figured, why not just pool their resources and do it together?  Now the group has completed 31 short films and Collider, DreadCentral, BloodyDisgusting, ShockTillYouDrop and HitFix are stepping in to distribute them.

Over the next five days we’ll bring you one (sometimes two) Fun Size Horror short films a day.  You’ll have 24 hours to watch that short film and then it’ll be replaced by the next.  The Collider lineup begins with a little something called “When They Say You’re Alone.”  This one comes from Grant Olin, a seasoned pre-vis artist who’s worked on films including Star Trek Into Darkness, Tomorrowland and Jurassic World.  Hit the jump to check out what he created for Fun Size Horror.

Here’s the synopsis for “When They Say You’re Alone:”

When They Say You’re Alone is a film about a young woman who is oblivious to her importance in a sacred ceremony. She may sleep, but they do not. The most terrifying nightmares are the ones we’re not even aware exists.
