Yesterday, Universal Pictures began the marketing campaign for the upcoming seventh Fast & Furious film by unveiling the official title—Furious 7—and a new banner, in addition to announcing that the official trailer will arrive this coming Saturday.  In keeping with the buildup to the trailer debut, Universal today released the first theatrical Furious 7 poster, which also reveals the film’s tagline: “Vengeance Hits Home.”  It’s a fairly standard teaser poster as the Furious 7 cast is obscured in the background, but I am very curious to see how director James Wan handles his first action film.  The production no doubt had its hurdles, but hopefully Wan and Co. were able to turn out a solid finished feature.

Hit the jump to check out the Furious 7 poster.  The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, and Kurt RussellFurious 7 opens in theaters on April 3, 2015.
