Fox just announced a slew of release dates for their upcoming films including Gambit, Assassins Creed, The Greatest Showman on Earth, and The Mountain Between Us, as well as switching up the release dates for the Untitled Planet of the Apes Sequel and Fantastic Four 2. Here's the breakdown:

Fox's highly anticipated X-Men spinoff Gambit has long been rumored to star Channing Tatum as the Cajun card-throwing mutant. Fans will finally see Tatum in costume Friday, October 7th, 2016. Tatum hinted at the release date on Twitter earlier today, and Fox confirmed soon after.

Michael Fassbender's
Assassin's Creed is now scheduled to hit theaters December 21st, 2016. Based on the popular video game, the film is set to be directed by
Justin Kurzel, who recently directed Fassbender in an adaptation of
Macbeth.
Fox also moved
Fantastic Four 2 up from July 14, 2017 to June 2nd, 2017 and placed the as yet untitled follow up to
Matt Reeve's
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in its old release date.
Other titles announced include
Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, a comedy with no announced cast and set to be directed by
Jake Szymanski, which will premiere theatrically July 29th, 2016,
Hugh Jackman's P.T. Barnum biopic,
The Greatest Showman on Earth, which will hit theaters Christmas Day 2016, and the romantic drama
The Mountain Between Us , which stars
Charlie Hunnam and
Rosamund Pike and is set for theatrical release February 10th, 2017.
