The long wait to Game of Thrones: Season 5 continues, and to their credit, HBO is trying to make it a bit more bearable.  There's Telltale's Game of Thrones video game (only the first episode is available, but it's excellent), the final two episodes of Season 4 are headed to IMAX next Friday, and now there's a half-hour documentary on the way.

EW reports that HBO is set to air Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life, which will cover one day of production on season five.  The special will take viewers across filming locations in Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Sevilla and Osuna, Spain, and show viewers "the epic sets, renowned cast and global scale of Thrones, as well as the more intimate and individual challenges of our subjects, giving the audience a new perspective on one of the most elaborate productions in television history."  Thirty minutes behind-the-scenes may be a morsel, but when you're starving to return to Westeros, it's enough.  The special will air February 8th at 7:30 p.m.  Game of Thrones returns April 12th.  Hit the jump to check out the special's trailer.
