In case you hadn't heard, there's a fantasy program with dragons, religious cults, incestuous royalty, three-eyed ravens, and, from what I hear, some pretty risque depictions of sex and violence premiering this Sunday. Sounds like a bit of a yawn, no? We kid, of course: the wait is nearly over for the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 5, which will deal largely with the fourth and fifth installments of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. To mark the occasion, Complex has created a nifty, formidably extensive map of the world of Game of Thrones, which offers a graphic guide to the history of nearly every section of land explored in the show. It also works as an excellent reminder of the importance of these lands, and a recap of the major events and figures that reside in each area, going into Game of Thrones Season 5.

Among the many realms of interest on the map is The North, which is, of course, now held by Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton) and Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), his sadistic bastard son who has spent most of his time in the impossibly popular series torturing poor Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen). Well, okay, to a degree, he had it coming, but still, it's a bit much. Regardless, Complex's map even goes as far as to break down recaps into a short version and an elongated, detailed "nerd" version for die-hard fans. If all you've been doing this week involves touching up your White Walker costume or practicing your Stannis Baratheon impressions, this one's for you.

Game of Thrones Season 5 will premiere April 12th, 10 p.m. on HBO, and you can check out our own recap of season 4 here.
