Some new photos have emerged from Game of Thrones' Moroccan set, which is where the scenes featuring the exiled Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) take place.  The series, which films in a number of locations including Northern Ireland, Malta and Croatia, has just added a third filming unit called "Raven" (in addition to "Dragon" and "Wolf"). It seems that one of the most complicated shooting schedules in television is growing larger (Growing Strong?).  Hit the jump for the photos and a few comments, with book and third season plot spoilers! [Update: We've removed the unofficial images.]

Morocco is standing in as the location for Astapor in Slaver's Bay, and in the photos there are a couple of interesting items, including seeing Jorah's (Iain Glen) Mormont bear sigil for the first time (finally) and Dan Hildebrand as Kraznys.  Still no sign of Ian McElhinney as a.k.a. Arstan Whitebeard, who has a huge reveal in the book that may not be played so stealthily in the series for obvious reasons, although it's probably pretty easy for most casual fans to have forgotten him by now.  We also get a first look at new cast member Nathalie Emmanuel as Missandei, as well as Dany's new badass dragon tooth (?) necklace.  A few of the helmet designs may also suggest the Unsullied (it is known).

Bonus News: Earlier this week there was also talk of the filming of a certain super spoilery and notorious scene from the third book, where onlookers reported that there will be no gruesomeness spared.  According to that report, the scene will take place in the ninth episode of the upcoming season, which makes a lot of us very unhappy ("too soon!!" I cry out, for reasons).

The third season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to air starting March 31st, 2013 on HBO.
