While fans will have to wait quite some time to get the audio commentaries for Game of Thrones Season 6, the next best thing is available today. Following the premiere of the Season 6 finale on Sunday, HBO released a behind-the-scenes video in which showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss discuss the major beats of the episode, their thought process behind them, and even offer a couple of tantalizing teases for what’s to come.

Benioff makes note that Cersei without her children is someone to be very much feared, and indeed Tommen’s suicide is entirely on her. It’ll be interesting to see how the King’s Landing storyline progresses as we barrel towards the show’s conclusion, but Benioff and Weiss also discuss the rise of the Starks, and the bittersweetness of Arya’s arc thus far. And in touching on Danerys finally making her way to Westeros after numerous (convenient) stops and starts, Weiss notes that this is quite possibly the biggest moment of the show thus far.

As for the whole Jon Snow parentage flashback, Benioff and Weiss neglect to even comment on it—at least in this official video—so we’ll have to wait to see what their plans are for that particular storyline and what it might mean for the series’ endgame.
