1n 1977, the sports documentary Pumping Iron introduced the legendary bodybuilders-turned-actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno.  Now, more than 30 years later, a new docudrama takes a look at the sport of professional bodybuilding with some of today’s elite athletes.  Directed by Vlad YudinGeneration Iron is narrated by Mickey Rourke and features appearances by Schwarzenegger and Ferrigno, as well as Jay Cutler and bodybuilders Phil HeathKai GreeneBranch Warren and Dennis Wolf.

SYNOPSIS:

Generation Iron examines the professional sport of bodybuilding today and gives the audience front row access to the lives of the top 7 bodybuilders (including Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Branch Warren and Dennis Wolf) in the sport as they train to compete in the world’s most premiere bodybuilding stage – Mr. Olympia.
