Get a Good Look at the New Freddy Krueger’s Ugly Look (in Action Figure-form) from the Remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

The first action figure of the redesigned Freddy Krueger from the upcoming remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street has come online and it proves what we’ve already heard on numerous occasions: the new Krueger (played by Jackie Earle Haley) looks like a real burn victim.  The teaser trailer provided the briefest glimpse of Krueger 2.0, but action figures aren’t held to the same standard of “Please don’t spoil this for everyone.”  Of course, a plastic, posed figurine can’t compare to the living, breathing character of a film so I continue to excitedly anticipate the next trailer for the movie which should hopefully give us a clear, delightfully horrific shot of the horror icon who makes sure that when you go to sleep it’s for the last time (which I guess could be construed as a really violent form of euthanasia).
