Arriving on July 1st is “Get Smart’s Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control.” The movie is an interesting twist to the straight to DVD genre…as the film runs parallel to “Get Smart,” which arrives in theaters ten days before this DVD.
What you need to know is, Bruce (Masi Oka) and Lloyd (Nate Torrence) are the two tech guys that work at Control. They essentially play a version ofQ from the James Bond movies.
Anyway, in"Get Smart"they help Steve Carell’s character with gadgets and info. And in"Out of Control,"you get to learn what their characters were doing while Steve was fighting around the world.
While straight to DVD sequels are made all the time, I think this is the first time a DVDs been made to run concurrently with a major release…
So to help promote the film, WB has released a trailer and some behind the scenes footage and they’re both below.
