Official peeks at Paul Feig's 2016 action/comedy Ghostbusters have begun trickling out over the inter-web over the last few weeks, and today's news update is no different. In a new image, title heroines Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones take the frightening fight to the streets. While the ladies are certainly stylin' in this new image, what's more interesting is the new plot details that have emerged in the accompanying write-up.
Apparently, the Ghostbusters will be forced to take on the spirits of deceased criminals from all eras of New York's past: "Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters" will antagonize the title heroes in this new feature film. And while this new image is a great looking tease, I can't wait to see the first trailer for the film to finally get a glimpse of the new Ghostbusters in action.
