It may be 26 years since Drs. Venkman, Stantz, and Spengler defeated ghosts at the New York Public Library but apparently the library still has issues with unwanted spectres.  Improv Everywhere decided to liven things up a bit by bringing a little random ghostbusting at the institution of learning.  No books were thrown around, but most people there got a little thrill to their day.  Also, if you're wondering how they pulled this off without getting kicked out, the library invited them to cheer people up in face of budget cuts. Look for the people who aren't clapping at the end or who don't even look up from their computers.  Those people are probably not a lot of fun at parties.
