The pieces are starting to come together regarding Paul Feig’s highly anticipated Ghostbusters reboot. We’ve recently seen a few behind-the-scenes photos of cast members Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon, as well as a photo of the Ghostbusters jumpsuits, but this is the first time we’ve seen the two as one. Finally!

Vulture has procured a photo of McCarthy in the jumpsuit (also sporting some fantastic frames):

With another side-shot coming from last week via the Boston Globe:

Personally, I think McCarthy looks both cute and totally badass in the new getup (let’s tackle some ghost science!) Also, in case you missed it, Neil Casey was recently named as the movie's lead villain, while Michael K. Williams and Andy Garcia were also added to the cast. Now, while we don’t have a synopsis as of yet, this lil nugget from the Boston Herald reveals a little bit about what the plot may revolve around:

Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters will be released on July 22nd, 2016.
