A little less than two weeks ago, Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot kicked off filming in Boston. We got our first look at Kristen Wigg, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon in costume soon after, and today we've got a behind-the-scenes peek at the title characters' new uniforms. Even though we didn't see co-star Leslie Jones in the earlier set photos, I'm happy to report that she does indeed have a 'bustin uniform hanging on the rack alongside those of her team members.

All we know about Wigg and McCarthy's characters so far is that, in the past, they were unsuccessful authors of a book theorizing that ghosts are real, only to reunite years later once word of this laughable publication gets Wigg kicked out of her prestigious teaching position at Columbia University. Somewhere along they way they team up with McKinnon and Jones, and then presumably decide to get matching uniforms. [Update: Check out the first look at the team's proton packs here!]

Here's a look at Feig's Tweet revealing those uniforms:

So far, we haven't seen too much of Feig's unique take on the property, except to say that McKinnon's character certainly seems to be the weird Egon Spengler of the bunch and that Wigg appears a bit stuffy. No glimpses of co-star/receptionist Kevin - as played by Chris Hemsworth - yet either. But I'm happy to say that the look of the new uniforms are nothing crazy, "gritty" or impractical. They're utilitarian while paying homage to the original; in other words, perfect.

Here's a behind-the-scenes shot of the original cast in their original uniforms, for comparison:
