GLEE Favorite Jane Lynch Will Host Saturday Night Live on October 9th

She’s already enjoying an Emmy nomination and some time working with comedy legend Carol Burnett on the second season of Glee, but comedienne Jane Lynch is going back to her sketch comedy roots as Movieline reports she will be hosting the October 9th episode of Saturday Night Live. The live broadcast sketch comedy show starts is 36th season this fall and thus far Lynch is the only host we know about for the forthcoming season. Since she got her start at Chicago’s famous Second City improvisation comedy troupe, this should be a hilarious walk in the park for her. Lynch is damn funny on her own, so I can’t wait to see her match teamed with the likes of Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and the rest of the cast.
