Fox's delightfully batshit Batman prequel Gotham is headed into its final two episodes ever, and a new trailer previews what looks to be a massive, all-out war for a city that very much so probably deserves to be nuked off the planet. It's like everyone fighting to the death over that uncomfortable-ass chair over on Game of Thrones, except with more petty crime and vaguely animal themed super-villains.

But no, this new footage contains a lot of the Gotham hallmarks that make it such a wonderfully weird show. Shane West's Bane—who hilariously just appropriated Tom Hardy's Monopoly Man-ass voice for the role—wielding an almost comically large bazooka. Ben McKenzie's Jim Gordon getting his ass kicked, growling "you want gusto?", and then continuing to get his ass kicked even harder. Cory Michael Smith's Edward Nygma dramatically entering the fray like the addition of a mentally ill riddle enthusiast is going to help at all. It's all fantastic. I'll miss Gotham dearly when it's gone.

Check out the trailer below. Gotham airs its penultimate episode directed by Carol Banker on April 18th and its series finale on April 25th. The series also stars David Mazouz, Robin Lord Taylor, Cameron MonaghanSean Pertwee, Morena Baccarin, Camren Bicondova, and Donal Logue.
