“Gordon.” “Oh, Gordon. Oh.” “Jim, you can fight this.” “Jim!” “ALFRED!” “Oh my god!” All that and more riveting reactions from Bruce Wayne actor David Mazouz in an unboxing video of the Gotham Season 2 finale script. The unboxing part is over and done with in the first few moments, but the real heart and soul of this video are the reactions of Mazouz to reading the script. That’s where things really get interesting….or do they?

Based on more of this garbled mumbo jumbo, we know that someone dies, maybe, in the Season 2 finale. Plus, the unnamed “they” are trapped in a cell with shackled some place with a bomb presumably not too far away, “Clayface Gordon is pretending to be Gordon (Ben McKenzie)”, Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) does something, and something intense happens. Thankfully, Mazouz had his dog by his side the whole time.

Watch the video below if you dare:

Now, how about some more concrete details? According to the official plot synopsis for the finale, titled “Transference,” “Gordon, Bruce, and Lucius remain at Indian Hill,” while “the city of Gotham will be met with a new threat as Hugo Strange’s inmates devise a plan to escape and start their new lives in Gotham.”

In case there are still fans out there for this show, which I’m assuming there are because Fox somehow gave a third season order to Gotham, a brief promo for the episode arrived online recently showing more of Mr. Freeze (Nathan Darrow), Strange (B.D. Wong), Penguin (Robin Taylor), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), and Firefly (Michelle Veintimilla).

The Gotham Season 2 finale will debut this Monday night, May 23rd, at 8 p.m. EST.
