Gotham Season 2 Premiere Date Announced, and More

Having solidified its schedule, Fox has announced premiere dates for its fall 2015-16 season debuts. Premiere week actually kicks off with the Primetime Emmy Awards, airing on Sunday, September 20th and hosted by Andy Samberg. Then the scripted series kick things into high gear with the one-two punch of Gotham and Minority Report on Monday, September 21st. The season two premiere of the Batman prequel series airs at 8pm ET/PT, followed by the TV show adaptation of Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi film Minority Report at 9pm.

Tuesday, September 22nd is home to the two-hour season premiere of Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan’s horror-comedy anthology Scream Queens, which begins at 8pm ET/PT. Then on Wednesday, September 23rd, the series premiere of the Morris Chestnut-fronted, Miami-set medical procedural airs at 8pm, followed by the season two premiere of Empire at 9pm.

Then on Sunday, September 27th, Fox’s full comedy block returns with season premieres of Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Family Guy, and (hooray!) The Last Man on Earth, which closes things out starting at 9:30pm ET/PT.

Tuesday, September 29th is Fox’s “Good Looking People” day, as the new John Stamos comedy series Grandfathered airs at 8pm ET/PT, followed by the Rob Lowe comedy series The Grinder at 8:30 and Scream Queens at 9 in its time period premiere.

Thursday, October 1st marks the end of the scripted premieres with new seasons of Bones and Sleepy Hollow at 8pm and 9pm, respectively, with Masterchef Junior and World’s Funniest debuting on Friday, November 6th.
